Comments: I have a TERESA WAFER (b.c. 1834) who married JACKSON SCOTT (1827-1872) in Aghaloo RC Church 12 DECEMBER 1855. No concrete evidence, but I suspect she was the daughter of ELLEN WAFER (d. 1865, Main Street Caledon, aged 64). A JOHN WAFER was a witness to a marriage in Aghaloo RC Church in 1837 and a MARGARET WAFER was killed by one of Lord Caledon's carts in 1850. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Comments: My ancestors were the Haslett family of Limavady, they were farmers. The names are: James, Sam, George.
My grandparents were George and Jeannie Haslett and they had 10 children: Irene, Marie, Sam, George, Betty, Essa, Clare, Pat, Ivor, Alastair.
I am interested to extend my knowledge about the family and their connections with Haslett House.

Comments: I have a strong suspicion that my great great grandparents James Patrick and Matilda Patrick and their oldest son James, (whose name is not mentioned in the story of the Sinking of the William Brown. I just don't know for certain that these are my ancestors. The dates make sense. Their son was born in Ireland, on June 24, 1837. Their second child was born in Canada on June 0f 1850. I am trying to go backwards to find my ancestors.
