Comments: Looking for my Ramsay ancestors from Co.Tyrone. On the 1861 census for Glasgow , my 3x Greatgrandfather, John, wife Elizabeth and daughter Mary Jane were reported as born in Co Tyrone, in Effernan, Cabragh and Knockaraven. I can find no records for them or their elder 2 children also John and Elizabeth.

Comments: What a fantastic site this is! The extensive amount of work that has gone into it is overwhelming. Thank you.
I have been researching my Great Grandparents Sarah McCutcheon [b;1853?] Omagh, married Michael Henry Phelan [1874] 1st Omagh Presbyterian Church, without too much luck finding their families. The Marriage Cert states her father as Henry McCutcheon [labourer] on one and Denny McCutcheon [labourer] on another. Most of the other family members [Ancestry + others] think her father was a David McCutcheon, but I am not convinced at all.
This site has given me some more researching material, and again, I thank you.
If anyone has any other information, I would be very grateful.

Comments: I am thrilled to have found your wonderful site on County Tyrone. I have been searching for my Grandmother-who emigrated in 1905 to U.S. Maggie McFarland Sageman's Family for years and now searching for their burial locations. Her brother Charles McFarland is buried at Saint Patrick's Church of Ireland Cemetery and I believe her father and mother Oliver d.1930 and Maggie d.1933 (Cornett) McFarland are buried there as well but am not certain. If you have anymore information I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Shelley

Comments: Hi to everyone trying to research family history from the mighty County Tyrone. Im just starting this frustrating journey. I have now found records for William and Anne Rodgers sailing from Londonderry on 29 march 1837 on the “adam lodge”. Can anyone suggest where I may bury my head next to continue the search…… Cheer much respect for those who have mastered this record search…
