- Minnie's first husband, Fred Nichols, was a pharmacist. Minnie and he
moved to Detroit. Fred was a professional student, always attending
school for whatever happened to take his fancy. When Fred was sick and
dying of a brain tumor, he was accepted at the Vets Hospital in Buffalo,
where he died in Jan, 1966. He was waked and buried in Buffalo.
Minnie and her second husband, Casey, lived on Goodyear Avenue, Buffalo.
Minnie was found dead in bed from a heart problem in 1987. Casey later
sold the home on Goodyear, and moved to Springville (?), where he has a
small home in the woods. He does odd jobs to supplement his pension.
