      attacks that had occurred for three days. The wake was held at Thompson Brothers Funeral Home, almost across the street from his house. Rev. Paul V. Goodwin from Temple Baptist Church officiated.

    • Evald was the first of six brothers to come to the U.S. when he was 20 years old, leaving by way of G?teborg on 13 Oct, 1909, (four years after his mother had died) and settling first in Duluth. He was naturalized as a citizen of the U.S. on 5 March, 1915, at age of 25. At that time, he lived at 4124 Luverne in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota.
