Emily married Robert in a double ceremony with Eliza, who married Henry Kater. The First and only Bishop of Australia performed the ceremony. Marriage Certificate. V 1840 158724B Emily was grandmother of Andrew Barton "Banjo"Patterson. He stayed with her on school holidays when she moved to gladesville after her husbands death in 1863.
