  	The 1900 census shows this family rented a house at 640 North Division, in Buffalo. By 1920, they owned, free, their house at 94 Good Avenue. The house they lived in at the time of Richard's death in 1932, was moved to 71 South Spaulding. Eventually, Richard's daughters, Mary (Mamie) and Johanna (Joan), raised their families from the two-family house at 71 South Spaulding.

  Julia was baptized on 24 June, 1871, in Knockduff in Cullen Parish, Union of Millstreet, Barony of Duhallow, County Cork, IRE. Witnesses at the baptism were Cornelius Sheehan and Julia McAuliffe. Ireland Source: O'Kief, Coshe Mang, Slieve Lougher and Upper Blackwater in Ireland, Volume XI, page 767, by Albert Eugene Casey, MD, 1960 (book on microfilm from LDS library 0823808 and indexed by LDS IGI Roman Catholic, Millstreet and Cullen, Cork, Ireland, Christenings 1822-1823 and 1853-1875, film C70084-1.) The 1900 census lists Julia as coming to the U.S. in 1876, when she was 5, and having lived in the U.S. for 23 years. The rest of her family can be found in the 1900 census living at 604 Swan Street, in Buffalo. In the 1920 census, Julia is listed as a dressmaker. Julia died of breast cancer which had spread. She died on her birthday. (Her husband, Richard, also died on his birthday).
