Notes |
- Fred's family travelled around a lot, moving to Sheboygan, Wisconsin in early 1918, and later to Fort Wayne, Indiana, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and to Minneapolis.
In 1937, Fred worked as a bellman in the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago until the war. About 1939, Fred Miller married Theresa Madiol in Chicago, and had a son John, born either May 8 or 9, 1940 (just before World War II). In 1956, when he was 39, Fred moved his family to the Florida Keys to run a Tasty Freeze. That lasted about two years. Starting in 1960, Fred again worked as a bellman in Chicago's Palmer House Hotel, and he and his family lived at Marina City when it was first built for about five years. Theresa died at age 49 or 50 on June
3, 1967, of a stroke due to an anorism.
In 1969, Fred married his second wife, Rosemary Forman (?), who also worked at the Palmer House as a cashier. They were married about 11 years, and Rosemary died 15 November, about 1980.
In 1984, Fred married Dolores Anderson, both being a resident of Ford City Apartments.
