- The 1910 census lists this family at 4547 Lowe Avenue, Chicago. Harry was working as a mechanic at the packing house. In 1920, they lived at 5847 Calumet Avenue and Harry was working as a sheet metel worker.
Family lore says she graduated from the University of Chicago. Per Robert Loerzel, great grandson of Olive, Olive received her Seaman's license in Chicago, issued by the Bureau of marine Inspction and navigation, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. She suffered from diabetes.
