In 1957, the McCain brothers [Harrison, Wallace, Robert & Andrew] founded McCain Foods at Florenceville [New Brunswick, Canada]. This company would go on to become the world’s largest producer of frozen chips. The ancestors of the McCain’s, William Andrew McCain, emigrated to Canada from near Castlefinn in the 1820s.
