Apr 4 1856 MARK OF RESPECT. It having become known to the farmers of the district that Mr. Richard Malseed, Postmaster of Ray, parish of Aughnish, county Donegal, had come into the possession of his father-in-law’s farm, situate in Ballyconnolly, parish of Tully, they assembled on the 26th ult., bring with them thirty-two ploughs, and, before five o’clock in the evening, ploughed seventeen, harrowed eight and trenched seven acres, as a token of his esteem towards them. Mr. Malseed entertained his friends for this timely exhibition of their kind wishes in good old Irish style
