Jul 29 1837 [Died] As PATRICK CANNING and OWEN DOHERTY were employed yesterday on the edge of the Quay, in the rear of Captain's yard, they fell into the river, and drowned. Canning was from Buncrana, and left a wife and two children to mourn his untimely fate
