1 This is a WEEKLY MARKET. It is held every WEDNESDAY.

2. The Market commences at ten o’clock in the summer, and eleven in winter. It concludes at half-past eleven in summer, and at half-past twelve in winter

3. The Market is held in the open street

4. Seven-eighth wide Webs ate brought to this Market, fifty-two yards in length, and thirty-two inches in breadth; of quality from eight to eleven hundred

5. The average price of the Webs brought to this Market in a brown state may be said to be 13d. per yard

6. The Linens are brought to this Market in a brown state.

7. The Linens which are brought to this Market are generally bleached at home, and partly consumed in making the Shirts for the Army, &c. &c. and the remainder sent to America, the West Indies, &c. A small quantity is exported to England and Scotland, in a brown state.

8.All Linens sold at this Market are exposed to sale at the same time

9. The Average number of webs brought to this Market weekly, may be said to be two hundred and ten pieces of seven-eighths wide, value about £630.

10. Nineteen out of twenty of the Weavers who attend this Market reside in this County. The remainder come from the County of Derry.

11. About two hundred Weavers, upon an average, attend each weekly Market.

12. About twenty-five Buyers, upon average, attend each Market

13. Of the twenty-five Buyers who attend this Market, ten are Principals, and fifteen are Commissioners.

14. The following are the names and residences of the principal Buyers of this County , who attend the Markey themselves, or send their Commissioners to purchase for them:
