The West Sperrin Family History Group Facebook page is designed to expand the knowledge of families who live, or who in the past lived in the parishes of Donagheady and Leckpatrick, both of which are located in the area west of the Sperrin mountains in North Tyrone and Derry / Londonderry.

West Sperrin Family History group has been established by Amanda Buchanan and Pat McNulty as part of a cross community initiative, supported by Derry City & Strabane District Council’s Good Relations Programme.

We will endeavour to assist members in their search for records and will use our local knowledge to answer questions you may have.

We welcome stories and photographs of families who live, or who in the past, lived in the West Sperrin area.
