Coleman
................ On Lot 2 James Pearson received the grant from the Crown on May 2nd, 1820. Mr. Pearson sold it to Richard and John Coleman. The Coleman brothers emigrated from Tyrone, Ireland, about the year 1830. The present Treasurer of Simcoe county [1950], D. H. Coleman, is a grandson of Richard Coleman.
.............................. Lot 7, Richard Coleman received the grant from the Crown March 3, 1852. His son, William R. Coleman lived on this property during his lifetime and his only heir now living is Dr. H. B. Coleman of Toronto.
