MAGINNIS. At Lagg, Malin, on Friday morning, aged 80 years, Mr. John Maginniss. He held the situation of permanent sergeant, of the Malin Cavalry and Infantry Yeomen, from their being called out during the troublesome times of 1798, until these corps were disembodied. In all the relations of life, as husband, father and friend, he may have been equalled, but could not be excelled. During his long life he gained the esteem of all, and his decease is much lamented by those who had the pleasure of his acquaintance (Londonderry Sentinel)
