STRABANE MORNING POST:

December 12 1815 Died on Tuesday last, MR. SAMUEL MORTON, of this town, in the 71st year of his age. In him, society has lost a worthy friend, and his disconsolate wife and family, sustained an irreparable loss
May 31 1831 Yesterday morning, ANTHONY DONNELL, from the neighbourhood of Ballintra, servant to MR. SAMUEL MORTON, of this town, went to bathe in the river at the foot of the town, at a place called the Clay Holes, and although an excellent swimmer, he sunk and was drowned. There being no assistance immediately at hand, and after lying near an hour in the water, life was extinct before his body was taken out. The usual means recommended in such cases were instantly resorted to by DRS. LENEY, GREER, and MITCHELL; but we are sorry to say without effect
